SAS Scandinavian Airlines
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) offers passengers several ways to check in. One of them is online check-in. This service is optional.
Online check-in with SAS opens 30 hours before departure and closes 1 hour before departure.
How to check in online with SAS? Step-by-step instructions
- Go to the SAS Airlines check-in page.
- Now enter your details, for example:
- Last name – the same one used when booking with eSky;
- Flight booking number (PNR) – you can find it in your eSky account and in your booking confirmation email.
An airline booking number (PNR) is a unique code used by airlines to identify a reservation. It typically consists of 6 characters, such as 4YUK3R.

📌 Important! The PNR is not the same as the eSky booking number!
The PNR is assigned by the airline and is the one you’ll need to check in on the website or in the app. The eSky booking number is only used to contact us.
Follow the instructions to complete your check-in. You can print your boarding pass or save it on your mobile device. You can also check in using the SAS mobile app.
What information is required for online check-in?
SAS Scandinavian Airlines requires passengers to provide detailed information in order to issue boarding passes. These details include:
- First and last name,
- Gender,
- Date of birth,
- Nationality,
- Type of document (ID card or passport),
- Document number and series,
- Country of issue,
- Date of issue and expiration,
- Visa, if required in the country of arrival (e.g., the United States, Russia).
The document you use for check-in must be brought to the airport and shown during boarding.
When is online check-in not possible?
You will need to check in at the airport if you:
- Require special assistance,
- Are a minor travelling without a guardian,
- Are travelling with an animal, musical instrument, or firearm.
Please arrive at the baggage drop-off counter at least 1 hour before your scheduled departure.
I purchased online check-in with eSky. What’s next?
If you’ve purchased the online check-in service, simply provide us with your details. We’ll request them in a separate email (“Provide us with the details required for check-in”). The email will include a button with a link to a secure form where you can quickly and easily send us the necessary information. You’ll receive your boarding pass no later than 8 hours before departure.
