Online check-in: What is it? - LOT

Polish Airlines LOT, in addition to traditional airport check-in, also offers online check-in. This type of check-in is optional.

Online check-in with LOT opens 36 hours before departure and closes 2 hours before departure.

How to check in online with LOT? Step-by-step instructions

  1. Go to the LOT Airlines check-in page.
  2. Now it’s time to enter your details, such as:
    • Last name – the same one used when booking with eSky;
    • Flight booking number (PNR) – you can find it in your eSky account and in the booking confirmation email.

An airline booking number (PNR) is a unique code used by airlines to identify a reservation. It typically consists of 6 characters, such as 4YUK3R.

For more details, please refer to How to find your booking reference, PNR and other identifying details.

📌 Important! The PNR is not the same as the eSky booking number!

The PNR is assigned by the airline and is the one you’ll need to check in via the airline’s website or app. The eSky booking number is only used to contact us.

Follow the instructions to complete the check-in process. If, for any reason, the boarding pass cannot be generated (e.g., additional document verification is required), please go to the airline's check-in desk at the airport. This service is free of charge.

What information is required during online check-in?

LOT requires passengers to provide the following information in order to generate the boarding pass:

  • Date of birth,
  • Nationality,
  • Type of document (ID card or passport),
  • Document number and series,
  • Country where the document was issued,
  • Date of issue and expiration,
  • Visa, if required in the destination country (e.g., United States).

The document used during online check-in must be brought to the airport and presented during boarding.

I purchased online check-in with eSky. What’s next?

If you purchased the online check-in service, all you need to do is provide us with your details. We’ll request them in a separate email (“Provide us with the details required for check-in”). This email will include a button linking to a secure form where you can quickly and easily submit your information. Your boarding pass will be sent to you no later than 8 hours before departure.
