Wizz Air are a popular low-cost airlines. The carrier operates in several locations, such as Europe, Georgia, Israel and Turkey. Wizz Air started operations on May 19 and the first flight took place from Katowice. This day is considered an important date in the company's history, because one of the passengers was József Váradi, founder and chairman of the Wizz Air board. Why Wizz Air is so cheap – airline offer is related to low-cost solutions, such as small airports, lack of leather seats and lack of allocation of seats. Passengers can take advantage of gastronomic services for an extra charge. Wizz Air operate 340 routes. There are approximately 2,000 employees. The largest airport in Hungary – Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport is the base of the carrier. The origins of the airport date back to 1950 and it is the second largest airport in Central Europe. The airport provides many services for passengers, for example a waiting room for Wizz Air customers with the Exclusive Waiting Room service. There are also free meals and drinks, Internet access, press, TV and bathroom.
