Blue Air flights have been available on the market since 2004. There are many various destinations, for example Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Spain, and the United Kingdom. The The carrier has nine operational bases, which are located in Alghero, Bucharest, Bacau, Cluj-Napoca, Constanţa, Iasi, Larnaca, Liverpool and Turin.
Blue Air is a full IATA member and has received the certificate of IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) from the International Air Transportation Association (IATA).
Each airline has its own baggage policy. At Blue Air, passengers can take on board one hand baggage without any additional baggage fees. The hand luggage should not exceed 10 kg in weight and 55 x 40 x 20 cm in size.
Passengers can have up to 4 pieces of checked-in luggage, each piece should not exceed 32 kg in weight and 100 x 80 x 30 cm in size. The acceptable weight depend on the selected booking class (20 kg for the Classic travel class and 32 kg for the Premium travel class).

Blue Air check in online is available 30 days before departure and no later than 12 hours before the flight. If there are any changes to the booking, passengers must check in again. Blue Air offers online check-in on almost every route. However, there are some exceptions, such as Lisbon, Palma de Mallorca or Tel Aviv.
