Great airline for me
for several reasons... Dublin's US Customs' Dept., good airplane food, great choice of in-flight programs. The one drawback is that there is no financial rebate if the return leg of your trip is cancelled.....

Cork to Heathrow. Return
All parts of process from tickets boading and exit was excellent. Boarding attendance were brash, rude and unfriendly. For example I was bruskly told to hang up my coat on the coat hook pre- flight and the attendant strutted off after spitting the words out with a glare. This happened a few times and when I managed to stop an attendant and query just where the coat hook was they looked and admitted this plane did not have them fitted, but no apology. To be honest this and the continual barrage of trying to sell things spoilt my flight experience and my desire to fly with air lingus again
