    Casablanca
Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco, set in the west of the country on the Atlantic Ocean. It has around 3.2 million inhabitants, which makes it the biggest city in the Maghreb. It is a key industrial and cultural centre as well as Morocco's largest seaport. The historic city centre, the Hassan II Mosque and the 18th-century Grand Mosque are all worth visiting. The climate is mild, with pleasant temperatures all year round. The best time to visit is spring and autumn.
