Morocco, in north-western Africa, borders Algeria and Western Sahara. It is bounded by the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The country has around 37 million inhabitants, and its capital is Rabat. In Casablanca, the largest city, you can admire modern architecture and traditional bazaars. The official languages are Arabic and Berber, although French is also widely spoken. The best time to visit is spring and autumn, when temperatures are mild.
