Sweden
Sweden, officially known as the Kingdom of Sweden, is located in Northern Europe on the Scandinavian Peninsula. It shares borders with Norway and Finland, and is connected to Denmark by the Öresund Bridge. Home to about 10.6 million people—most of whom live in urban areas—Sweden is a member of both the EU and NATO. The country boasts stunning landscapes, from the Scandinavian Mountains to its long Baltic Sea coastline. The climate is temperate, with cool winters and mild summers; late spring and summer are the best times to visit.
