Preveza
Preveza is a picturesque town in Greece, located in the Epirus region, by the strait connecting the Ambracian Gulf with the Ionian Sea. Home to about 19,000 people, it is near the ruins of ancient Nikopolis, making it an attractive spot for history enthusiasts. The town was part of the Republic of the Seven Islands from 1800 to 1807. Average summer temperatures reach 30 °C, while winter temperatures drop to 10 °C. The best time to visit is late spring or early autumn, when the weather is milder.
