Luggage
At WOW air airlines, you can choose one of two types of hand luggage: a free small personal item or a bag with specific dimensions and weight, for which you will have to pay extra. If you plan to take a lot of things, you can buy up to 3 pieces of registered luggage that will go to the luggage hatch. The easiest and cheapest way is to do it online. Allowed dimensions and weight of hand luggage change depending on the booking class, but are fixed regardless of the route. Similarly with registered luggage. Before entering the plane, the airport staff check, using special bins, whether hand luggage meets the requirements of the carrier. If not, it is automatically treated as a registered baggage, and hence – a subject to additional charge.
Online check-in
All WOW air passengers can use the online check-in option provided that one booking will not be made for more than 9 people. Check-in can be made the day before the start. However, keep in mind that the system closes 24 hours before departure. Online check-in is very intuitive and saves time spent at the airport. All you need to do is prepare basic personal details and reservation number, go to the carrier's website and then follow the procedure. The boarding card generated at the end will serve as a boarding pass. Some flights, such as ones to Canada, may require additional documents. It is worth remembering that after the check-in you cannot change anything in the booking, but you can buy the luggage all the time up to the departure.
Fleet
The WOW air fleet is relatively young compared to aircrafts of other carriers. It consists of Airbus A320-200, A320-200neo, A321-200 and A330-300 machines, which have specific names, including family members. All planes are in shades of purple, that is the official colour of the line. Among the machines there will be both those that will serve fewer flights, as well as those intended for more frequented routes. The advantages of aircraft from the WOW air fleet are comfortable interior and economical exploitation, thanks to which benefits not only the carrier itself, but also the environment. In terms of nature protection, the TF-NEO model equipped with modern engines deserves special attention, which revolutionize the emission of harmful gases, by half issuing less nitrogen oxides and 15% less CO2.
Keflavik airport
The international Keflavik airport is the largest airport in Iceland. It is located 50 km southwest of the Icelandic capital, Reykjavík. An interesting fact about the airport is that it is a reserve landing point for NASA space ferries, if for some reason it was not possible to land in the United States. At the airport there are restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and companies providing car rental services. In the port area there is wireless Internet access, which can be used at special points. From the airport to the city you can get only by car or bus. At the airport, coaches and taxis are stationed, and for those who plan to travel more during their stay, there is also the possibility of renting a car.
Refreshments
On board of WOW air aircrafts, flight attendants serve paid catering offering passengers, among others pizzas, sandwiches, snacks, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cold carbonated drinks, water, fruit juices, beer and wine. A hot catering meal should be ordered before departure via the website. Before doing this, however, you need to make sure that meals are served on your flight, as this option is not available on some routes. The menu also includes meals for children. In addition, onboard each aircraft, passengers can buy something to chew in the sky bar offering, among others, sweets, snacks and drinks. If we do not plan to spend extra money on food, we can always take something with you in hand luggage.
Additional services
In WOW air airplanes, there is a sky-high store offering a range of luxury items at attractive prices, such as cosmetics, perfumes, jewellery and accessories from the world's best brands. In addition, the lines offer a range of paid services, such as purchasing additional space on board, reserving this favourite or making a reservation change. There is also the possibility of buying additional luggage. Available to passengers are colourful magazines that will make your flight pleasant. The carrier encourages you to use your own entertainment sources (smartphones, tablets, headphones) during the flight, especially if you are traveling with children.

Chapu že za málo peněz nemuzu čekat mnoho. Ale ochota personálu a reklamace na totálně zničeny kufr by mela byt zahrnuta i pro nízkonákladové lety!! Do budoucna vím s rozhodne nelétat a s radosti budu sve děsivé zkušenosti šířit dál.

Tani lot przez Atlantyk
Doskonałe połączenie z Waszyngtonem i Bostonem. Lot z Berlina przez Rejkiawik. Przerwa w Rejkiawiku około 1 godz. Przy dopłacie do miejsc z większą przestrzenią " na nogi " bardzo wygodny lot. Oczywiści tania linia więc nie ma żadnego cateringu

Rewelacja!
Świetne linie! Personel włada dobrym angielskim, za każdym razem lot przebiegał gładko, wszystkie lądowania były bardzo przyjemne. Fotele całkiem wygodne i nowa flota samolotów, bagaż dotarł cały. Wszystko jak należy.

Dobre linie w dobrej cenie
Punktualność i obsługa na wysokim poziomie, jakość lotu i lądowania nieco gorzej. Cena za bilet niezła, ale wysoka za bagaż główny, przy limicie do 20kg zamiast standardowych 23kg. Brak wliczonej wody :-(
