LOT luggage
LOT airlines allows you to take hand luggage with you on board the plane. Carry-on luggage dimensions and weight may vary depending on your booking class and route. Included in your ticket price, you may also take one of these items: a handbag, small rucksack or purse (max. 2kg, dimensions 40cm x 35cm x 12cm) / laptop bag / umbrella / small camera or binoculars.
For short- and medium-haul flights, your checked baggage allowance depends on the booking class, and for long-haul flights, on your booking class and destination.
Booking classes
LOT offers two classes of travel for flights within Europe: LOT Economy and LOT Business. On medium-haul flights to Astana, Tashkent, Dubai and Riyadh, you can choose from LOT Economy or LOT Premium Economy class. In addition to the aforementioned classes, long-haul flights allow you to take advantage of LOT Business class amenities. Depending on your route, the different classes differ in terms of access to services, both before and during the flight. LOT offers convenient and affordable options for everyone.
Online check-in
Online check-in opens up to 36 hours before departure and closes 120 minutes before departure. You can choose to print your boarding pass, text it to your mobile, send it to your email address or save it to your phone.
Traditional airport check-in opens two-three hours before departure and closes between 30 and 70 minutes before departure, depending on your route.
Fleet
LOT Polish Airlines' aircraft fleet is one of the youngest in Europe. It currently numbers more than 70 aircraft, covering over 200 routes, with models including Boeing (787-9 Dreamliner, 787-8 Dreamliner, 737 MAX 8, 737-800) and Embraer (195, 190, 175, 170).
The airport of Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw
The main base of LOT is the airport of Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw. On the airport there are situated business lounges of the Polish carrier: LOT Business Lounges “Polonez” and LOT Elite Lounge.
In the lounge for passenger awaits conveniences, such as bathroom with shower, warm lunch and snacks, drinks (also alcoholic ones), press, computers, TV, free WiFi access. The possibility to enter lounges depends on a booking class.
Meals
LOT’s on-board meal service varies depending on your route and booking class. On domestic flights, you will receive a small snack in the form of mineral water and biscuits. On short-haul LOT Economy flights include mineral water, a biscuit and a hot beverage. On flights to Astana, Tashkent, Dubai and Riyadh, you will receive a full meal. Long-haul flights in the same class include a three-course meal and a wide selection of hot and cold drinks.
Depending on your booked class and route, you can order meals tailored to your diet either 24 or 48 hours before your flight – these include gluten-free, vegetarian, lactose-reduced and diabetic options. Regardless of your travel class, you can also always enjoy additional paid snacks from LOT’s SkyBar.
Additional services
Unaccompanied minors under 12 years of age require prior booking of a special assistant. This is a LOT employee who will accompany the young passenger from check-in until they are collected at the destination airport by an authorised adult.
You may carry special equipment, such as a large instrument or sports equipment in the hold – please ask about the availability of this service when booking your ticket and no later than 24 hours before departure.
Animals may be transported in the passenger cabin or the luggage hold, dependent on their weight and size. Carriage of an animal must be pre-booked a minimum of 12 hours before your flight.

Smooth, the cabin crew was very friendly. Good NOT Excellent , the price of the ticket is reasonable but it would be nice to have an option to get any healthy snack or the fruit instead of the chocolate bar.
