Baggage policy
Eurowings has its own baggage policy and each passengers has to respect it. The acceptable dimensions and weight are determined by your booking class and the destination. These rules also apply to checked baggage. Passengers can also purchase additional Eurowings baggage services, but it's associated with additional baggage fees.
Eurowings booking classes
Passenegers travelling with Eurowings can choose different booking classes, , however certain conditions and additional facilities vary, depending on which carrier you’re flying with – Lufthansa or Germanwings. Lufthansa offers 4 different booking classes – Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class. When it comes to Germanwings – there are 3 booking classes. BASIC class is the cheapest one and this option includes inly the flight. Other services can be purchased for an extra fee. SMART class is related to cheap prices, but it also includes some additional services. BEST class is similar to business class. It offers special comfort and luxuries, such as exclusive lie-flat seats with more leg room.
Eurowings check in online
Passengers travelling with Eurowings (when operating on behalf of Germanwings) can use the option of Eurowings check in online. This service is available from 72 to 3 hours before the planned departure. At most German departure airports you can check in online even up to 30 minutes prior the scheduled departure time. Passengers flying with Lufthansa can use this service from 23 hours before the flight. For more information about online check-in, flight status, etc., please visit the carrier's website.
Fleet
Currently, the carrier's fleet consists mostly of Airbus A319, A320, and A330. All the machines are modern and safe. Sometimes the carrier also uses a Boeing 767-300ER. The fleet is still developing. The largest aircraft of the Eurowings’ fleet is Airbus A330-200 which offers seats for up to 335 passengers. Thanks to modern aircraft, the carrier is considered a reliable airline.
Düsseldorf Airport
The international Airport of Düsseldorf is the largest and the most popular in the Rhineland. The airport is located about 7 kilometers from the city center of Düsseldorf. Travellers can take advantage of many restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, and car rentals. There is also free Wi-Fi network available for the passengers.
Eurowings customer service
The airline (when operating on behalf of Germanwings) offers many different services, such as meals on the plane board. However, meals may vary depending on the selected booking class. In the BEST fare, food and drink are included in the ticket price. Passengers travelling with SMART class can receive some snacks and a bottle of water. BASIC-class passengers can purchase food and drinks from SkyBistro menu. When operating on behalf of Lufthansa, as well as the flag carrier, it delivers restaurant-quality meals on board. Very bad experience at the gate in Dusseldorf. Omur Kas was extremely rude to me in front of my son and fellow passengers. He made an announcement that nobody could here and then he called people from group 2 to come to him with the hand luggage. He stuck a label on my stroller and when I asked what is this for, he just said: leave it in front of the aircraft. I was trying to explain as I cannot leave it, as it contain my son food and medication as he has a severe allergy. He just shouted at me and I just couldn't believe my ears the way he was talking to me in front of everybody. He said: if you want it you have to buy group 1 very upset with me....I tried to explain that I am first time with this company and I don't know what is hf talking about. He then ripped that label of my troller and just turn saying things.....I asked what was his name and couldn't believe that this is happening to me. He turned to me laughing saying: this is not my name.....As first time travelling with Eurowings I had a very sour experience bearing in mind I was travelling alone with my son and paid quite a lot if money for that ticket.

We flew manchester to dussekdorf very smooth
Dusseldorf to manchester was a nightmare.three desks open long long queue .we were airport with 1 1/2 hours to spare.nearly a hour to check in.we had to ask to go to front.nearly missed out flight
