Baggage
Ellinair passengers can bring hand baggage and checked baggage on board free of charge, but they must not exceed a certain weight limit. Thanks to this, you do not have to pay for extra suitcases. Free baggage is a permanent convenience in all booking classes. On top of that, students can take a few extra kilograms more on board as checked baggage. If you need to transport an animal or special baggage, you must inform the customer service in advance. You cannot bring liquids in opaque bottles that exceed 100 ml in volume on board. Sharp tools are also forbidden.
Booking classes
Ellinair offers its passengers three booking classes: Classic, Comfort and Super. Each of them guarantees different conditions of flight reschedule and cancellation - in more expensive classes change and cancellation are free. It may happen that on some flights it will not be possible to buy a ticket in a given class. The reason may be that the tickets have fully sold out or a total lack of seats in a given class during a particular flight. Depending on the class, passengers travel on different types of aircrafts. It is worth to know that Ellinair most often sells charter flights in the classic offer. Although ticket prices vary depending on the class, baggage is always included, and its admissible size and weight remain fixed.
Online check-in
Online check-in is only available for passengers on selected flights. The check-in system opens 48 hours before departure and closes 3 hours before take-off. During passport control, you should be carrying your boarding pass, which you will be sent to your mailbox after checking in online. To check-in, you only need to use the electronic system on a dedicated website and enter your data. Check-in on site is possible for all flights, from 2 hours to 40 minutes before departure. The service is free. The entrance gates close 20 minutes before the scheduled take-off time.
Fleet
The Ellinair fleet consists of about 10 aircrafts of which most are Airbus and Boeings. Each aircraft is equipped with approximately 150 seats, thanks to which the vehicles can take passengers of even the busiest flights on board. Each aircraft is regularly checked due to the company’s strong emphasis on safety and modern aviation technology so that passengers can enjoy the highest quality of air services.
International Airport ‘Macedonia’ (Thessaloniki Airport)
Thessaloniki International Airport is the main airport of the Greek airline. Inside the airport there are facilities for passengers of all carriers, not just Ellinair. It is one of the largest Greek ports, with passenger numbers of over three million per annuum from all parts of the world. At the airport there are many restaurants and shops in the duty-free zone. The complex is located on the outskirts of Thessaloniki, not far from the city centre. Access by public transport is very easy even for first-time visitors to Greece.
Meals
On board the aeroplane, each passenger can receive their meal, consisting not only of the main course, but also snacks. There is also a wide selection of alcohols and drinks available in the on-board store, regardless of the purchased class. The staff offers healthy and colourful meals for children. It also cares for diabetics, people who are affiliated with religious traditions and people who are allergic to some nutrients. It is possible to arrange the menu in advance - this should be done by phone with the customer service office, at least two days before the flight date.
Additional services
Ellinair aircrafts are adapted to the needs of disabled passengers and babies. Additional straps are available for children under the age of two. If passengers require special assistance, for example due to poor health or physical condition, they should report such necessity before the flight by completing a special document available on the main page of Ellinair. Animals can be also carried on planes, but for safety reasons it is strictly forbidden to smoke.

na starcie 20 minut spoznienia ale odzyskane w trakcie lotu,tak wiec dolecielismy punktualnie. Otrzymalismy wode i biskuita. Siedzenia jak we wszystkich tanich liniach; waskie i mala przestrzen na nogi ale to tylko 1 godzina lotu.
