Every carrier has their regulations regarding luggage. That includes hand luggage and registered luggage. What parameters are set by Belavia Airlines? Travelling in economy class will allow you to register luggage sized 50cmx50cmx50cm weighting up to 23kg. Business class allows you to take two of the same sized luggage! Furthermore it ups the weight to 32kg. Regarding hand luggage the rules are 55cmx40cmx20cm up to 8kg for economy and up to 12kg for business class.

What items are allowed in hand luggage?

You can take hand luggage with you on the airplane. You can pack necessary clothing, up to 100ml of fluids and no sharp objects.

Registered baggage.

Registered baggage allows you to pack more clothes and items. The difference is not only in size but also items allowed. Registered baggage is handed out at check in and is carried in storage cabinet. This baggage is controlled and every dangerous or suspicious item left can cause your baggage to be declined and a more thorough search will be required. Please remember that Belavia Airlines does not take responsibility for fragile and valuable items transported within your luggage.

You can choose from different economy or business class whilst travelling with Belavia Airlines. The main difference is the comfort of travel, which comes with a little higher price. Bear in mind that Belavia’s business class prices can be a bit steep, which might cause problems for family travels. Economy class actually includes four different options to choose from: Economy Promotion, Economy Restricted, Economy Semi-Flexible and Economy Flexible. Main differences between those are the type of trip (some are only for round trips, others also for one-way trips), Flexible also offers Open Date as the only one out of Economy options. If you want to choose Belavia Airlines you will have no problems checking in online. Remember that you have limited time to do so. Online check – in must take place 24 to 2 hours before flight, the airline does not take responsibility for missing that window. After online check – in you will receive boarding pass, which must be taken with you to the airport. Remember to arrive at the airport 2 hours before your flight. If you already have the boarding pass, proceed to hand over your luggage and go aboard after successfully passing the hand – baggage control. Online check – in is a way to speed up the procedure. Do not forget, however, to stick to the time restrictions.
