Pescara
Pescara is the largest city in Abruzzo, located on the Adriatic Sea, about 155 km east of Rome. Home to about 120,000 people, it is known as the ancient Aternum and serves as an important industrial and tourist center. You can visit the museum of Gabriele d'Annunzio, a renowned writer and politician. Pescara offers excellent transport connections, including an airport and a railway station. The climate is Mediterranean, with mild winters and warm summers. Spring and summer are the best times to visit.
