Lyon
Lyon, the third-largest city in France, is located in the central-eastern part of the country, along the Rhône and Saône rivers. It is the capital of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and is home to about 1.7 million people. Renowned for its historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site, it offers numerous attractions, including the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière and the old town of Vieux Lyon.
